Atlas moths are similar to Morpho butterflies, they both have very oily abdomens. Usually however with Morpho butterflies, those abdomens are removed since it affects the bright blue wing color. With Atlas moths, we don't remove the bodies because it's very noticeable and hard to hide when the wings are spread. Atlas moths are also not shimmery and blue like the morphos. We pack the Moths with tissue around to body to help soak up the oil however sometimes it travels to the paper.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Rareinsect","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":42739477250119,"sku":null,"price":18.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0674\/9962\/2471\/files\/C15FABA9-3A3F-4A41-9D91-23CE968A5EEC.jpg?v=1782704143"}],"url":"https:\/\/rareinsect.com\/collections\/moths.oembed","provider":"Rareinsect","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
